1. Scope

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop of Just Taste Ireland (“Seller”) by consumers (“Customer”).
1.2. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a transaction for purposes that are not primarily related to a trade, business, or profession.
1.3. By placing an order, the Customer accepts these Terms and Conditions as binding. Deviating terms from the Customer will not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Products and Descriptions

The presentation of products on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
All product descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice. Errors and omissions are excepted.
All offers are valid while stocks last.

3. Ordering Process and Contract Conclusion

3.1. Customers can select products from our range and place them in the virtual shopping cart.
3.2. By clicking “Place Order”, the Customer makes a binding offer to purchase the items in the cart.
3.3. Upon receiving the order, the Seller will send an automatic confirmation email summarising the details. This email does not constitute acceptance of the order.
3.4. The purchase contract becomes binding once the Seller confirms the order by a separate email or ships the goods.
3.5. If prepayment is required and payment is not received within 10 calendar days of the order, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order.

4. Prices and Delivery Costs

4.1. All prices shown include VAT (where applicable) and are stated in Euro (€).
4.2. Delivery or shipping costs, if applicable, are displayed separately during the checkout process before completion of the order.

5. Delivery and Availability

5.1. Delivery takes place after full payment has been received.
5.2. If delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts), JustTaste Ireland may withdraw from the contract. Any payments received will be refunded.
5.3. If a product becomes unavailable after ordering, the Customer will be notified promptly. In such cases, JustTaste Ireland may offer an alternative product or a refund.
5.4. Information on delivery times and restrictions will be provided on the relevant product pages.

6. Payment Terms

6.1. All payments must be made by credit or debit card via Square, our secure payment processor.
6.2. Payment is due immediately at the time of order. Orders are processed only after successful payment confirmation.
6.3. Refunds, where applicable, will be made to the same payment method used for the purchase.

7. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of Just Taste Ireland until full payment has been received.

8. Warranty and Guarantee

8.1. Irish and EU consumer protection laws apply.
8.2. Customers are entitled to statutory warranty rights in the event of defects.
8.3. Any additional product guarantees apply only if expressly stated on the product page.

9. Liability

9.1. JustTaste Ireland is liable without limitation for damages resulting from intent or gross negligence.
9.2. For simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable and typical damages related to the performance of the contract.
9.3. Liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded.
9.4. Liability for injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected, as does liability under mandatory Irish and EU product safety laws.

10. Storage of Contract Information

10.1. Customers may print or save these Terms and Conditions and the order details before completing the purchase.
10.2. An order confirmation containing all relevant information will be sent to the Customer via email.
10.3. For data protection and security reasons, the contract text is not publicly accessible online.

11. Final Provisions

11.1. Irish law applies to all transactions between the Seller and the Customer.
11.2. Should individual clauses of these Terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
11.3. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for consumers, available at:
https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
We are not obliged nor willing to participate in a consumer arbitration procedure.
